STRICTLY PUBLIC showed international video art on the large LED display at Ku’damm-Eck in Berlin and referred to the slogan of Transmediale.04 : Fly Utopia! At the Transmediale festival at HKW (Haus der Kulturen der Welt), Strictly Public held two lectures with video screenings.
Strictly Public opens a window for video art in a public area in Berlin. MIM company gives Strictly Public the opportunity to show ten different one-minute videos, interrupting the regular programme 96 times per day on Berlin’s largest video board at the highly frequented Kurfürstendamm-Corner. For this event the members of Strictly Public have developed individual video works and invited six international artists to realise their artistic utopia for this LED display.
