For five years, the imai Videolounge at NRW-Forum Düsseldorf invited visitors to interactively explore the history of video art from the 1970s to the present. Info sheets on more than 1,000 videos were posted along the walls of the lounge and made it possible to experience physically the principle of searching and finding. The videos could be called up individually on available tablets or on personal smartphones. Comfortable seating furniture invited visitors to linger. The selection of videos was constantly expanded. A large projection screen showed a changing curated selection of video art. No fewer than 15 works by Myriam Thyes were on display there.
